During my internship at SLIMDESIGN, I had the opportunity to conduct an exploratory project for Monami, a leading Korean ballpoint manufacturer. Monami was seeking new opportunities to develop a ballpoint that could compete in the European market. The request was for a pen with new and unique selling points, suitable for the European and American markets, and with a price point of 2-3 euros for a ballpoint pen. A comprehensive user research was conducted, encompassing interviews and tests, leading to the creation of a new design incorporating an elegant fidget element.
